New housemate called right after the move-in time and told us he was not moving in. I am a low income software engineer who has no choice but lease out some rooms from my renting house, just for living.
Samsung U908 arrived in yesterday morning. F???x fulfilled seller's estimated time 1-3 days (1 day weekend excl., or 3 days weedend incl.). Compared to E?S which last time held my parcel at Sydney depot for 2 days, this is what so-called 'professional', though it might depends on the quality of sub-contractors, too.
May be because this time I received the parcel at City Central Business District, the parcel was delivered by relative higher performed contractor. FYI, I and my younger brother have received 'no one in house' card in mailbox 3 days in a row, given that my brother stayed indoor during the time mentioned on the cards.
The people in this city do know quality: I saw a woman went to an outlet lining up for cashier and started talking to her partner on phone with many 'ridicious'. I also met so many customers blaming the turnaround of the repair centre of my previous workplace, when I was working as a customer services guy. The discussion about ISP on whirlpoolnet.net.au showed how people concern about how to the best services and goods as well. However, I could see quality rarely here: monopolized supermarkets/department stores/fashion bontiques/food/public utility with excessive prices and low quality, slow process time, bad staff attitute, etc.
I purchased most stuffs especially electronics from overseas. All I shopped from local stores are food.

What does "low income" means with regard to a software engineer? I was generally under the impression that even new graduates were paid relatively handsomely.
I am mystified by the process that goes into "No One In House" cards. I've always been home and waiting when they've been dropped off. It's baffling.
Cheers,
Richard
Hi Richard, thank for reading. :)
I don't know whether I made a big big mistake when I said 'yes' without knowing that offer is actually much lower than market price, or because my pay hasn't been raised enough for couple of years. In my opinion, I don't think mine was relatively handsomely. It would even be appropriate to be described as ugly. XD
Receiving "No One in House" cards isn't the end of the story my friend. If they issued you 3 of them, they will cease their delivery action and ask you to pick up at the closest depot, which in my case a 45 minutes driving. We better expect nothing from the start to reduce our disappointment.
I guess the trick is to support those place that do show quality service.
Yo Wade how are you?
The courier is selected by seller sadly.
This is a competition deficiency society AFAI-reckon.
